I just wanted to say a big thankyou to you and the George team for Saturday night and my mums 70th Birthday surprise. We had guests from interstate and all over the place as well as plenty of locals. Every single one of them commented on the great venue service and most of all the superb food ( which we all enjoyed the leftovers of on Sunday). The wait staff were just fabulous and you were so accommodating with everything we needed. The room was perfect for our occasion and we just loved the idea of a “feast” table sharing the food and serving our selves. This was our first time to the George Hotel. The choice of meals are limited but melt in your mouth. There is an all day menu or choose from the dinner menu. The steak was to die for - very tender and juicy. Highly recommended. The service was great. The staff didn't annoy you but were there whenever you were ready. The time between ordering and getting you meal is an accepted time.

Have been here multiple times. Every time the staff are great and very friendly. The menu is a really nice a la carte menu. We had the duck and Sunday roast with dumplings as an appetiser. Can't rate this place high enough. Worth the drive if your in the Central West!!!!

Wow !! what a meal......the best, the juiciest, most amazing rib steak in the Central West. With a French influence and great Australian beef the combination is simply "The George Hotels Rib" and it is simply magnificent. !!!

Had been recommended to the George by family but our first time at the George Hotel. Gathered with a group of friends for lunch. For anyone that is looking for something different but without resorting to weird, this place has the menu for you. Well priced and loads of variety of quality food, you won't be disappointed. The dining and bar area are impressive as fresh, clean, contemporary and functional. Staff are fast, efficient and pleasant.

We booked into the George Hotel for accommodation as it was just a short stroll through the beautiful park to the Entertainment Hall for the show we had booked. The accommodation is above average for a pub. Each room has its own ensuite. The room was basic but very clean and provided a bar fridge an tea and coffee facilities. There was a well kept breakfast room where you can have cereal or toast. Coffee, tea and juice were also available. Definitely would recommend the George Hotel.

Had dinner here with friends and kids. Food was outstanding. The rib eye was cooked to perfection. It was so good we came back the next night and we had the Monday rib and pint deal which was also great. Kids meals are very good and no problem with fussy eaters. Only negative was a little understaffed on the Monday night.
