• ACCOMMODATION BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS

      • – All bookings made are subject to hotel’s terms and conditions and the person making the booking will be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions on behalf of all persons who will be staying at the hotel under the booking once any payment is made in relation to the booking.

      • – You must provide a credit card authorization or imprint when you check-in. This authorization may be used to cover incidental items including but not limited to telephone charges, security bond or deposit for any breakages or damage incurred during your stay or cleaning charges in excess of the normal level of cleaning.

      • – You must be at least 18 years of age to make a booking with The George Hotel.

      •  

    CHILD POLICY:

      • – Child or Children aged between 3 years and 12 years; “Infant” means a person under the age of 3 years;

      • – Children and Infants sharing a room with their parents or guardians may do so free of change if using existing beds and linen and not exceeding the maximum occupancy for the given room type.

      • – Children and Infants may not stay in any room without an Adult.

      •  

    EXTRA PERSONS POLICY:

      • – Persons aged over 12 years will be charged Extra Person rate of AUD $40.00 for each person.

      •  

    GROUP BOOKING POLICY

      • – Group bookings of 6 or more rooms, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required at time of booking along with a credit card guarantee for the remaining 50% balance which is payable 7 days out from the scheduled date of arrival.

      •  

      • FOR SPECIAL EVENTS (INCLUDING RACE DATES) – NON-REFUNDABLE POLICY

      • – Full pre-payment is required at time of booking and there is no refund for any cancellation or amendments permitted.

      •  

      • PAYMENT POLICY

      • – Payments may be made by Visa, MasterCard, Diners and American Express. A 1.5% surcharge will apply to Visa and MasterCard, 2.25% for Amex, UnionPay and Diners credit card

      • – Payment for accommodation is processed at the time of your booking being confirmed. At time of booking you agree to make payment via a debit to your nominated credit card for the full amount of the accommodation.

      • – To the extent permitted by law any amount paid by you to hotel for your booking is non-refundable unless stated otherwise in these Terms and Conditions.

      • – Depending upon your credit card’s currency and the country in which your card was issued, your credit card provider may impose foreign exchange fees and other fees which are in accordance with your arrangements with that credit card provider.

    CANCELLATION POLICY

     

    FOR STANDARD BOOKINGS: Free Cancellation Allowed up to 48 hours prior to your check in date.

     

    – All Cancellations made after 48 hours prior to check in will forfeit the full amount of the accommodation charge.
    – No-shows forfeit the full charge of the reservation.

     

    – If you need to cancel or amend your reservation, please contact the hotel by the above mentioned cancellation date to avoid the associated charges. All cancellation and amendment requests need to be sent via email to [email protected]. Verbal request for cancellations and amendment of bookings will not be accepted. All amendments to bookings are subject to an administration fee.
